ASTM A391 Grade 80 Chain US Standard

Grade 80 Chain used in overhead lifting applications. 80 Chain has excellent energy absorption and is manufactured using special analysis alloy steel. G80 alloy chain is rugged, versatile, high-strength, low-weight chain. Quenched and tempered before proof testing, Grade 80 chain specs & dimensions have tensile strength twice of ordinary steel chain.

ASTM A391 Grade 80 Chain US Standard
Introduction

Made of alloy steel containing chemical elements such as Cr and Ni, each link is heat treated and calibrated. Suitable for lifting and lashing heavy objects. Each link is tested with 2.5 times the working load before leaving the factory. Can be sold in bulk or barrels. It meets the requirements of ASTM A391 standard for chain performance and materials.

Standards

!This product is not recommended for overhead lifting. It is strictly prohibited to use it in excess of the working load (WLL).

!Any surface coating will affect the mechanical properties of the chain. Please ask staff for details.

!Do not weld other accessories directly to the chain when used on deck.

!Enhanced performance chains are not recommended for use in harsh, corrosive environments, as pitting and friction martensite may lead to operational failures.

We follow standards:

ASTM A391

Optional surface treatment: natural black, powder coating, black electrophoresis, electro-galvanizing, hot-dip galvanizing, Dacromet.

Ambient temperature during use:

Min.: -40 ℃

Max.: 200 ℃

If the application scenario exceeds or is lower than the recommended operating temperature, please consult the staff to see if it is feasible.
