NACM2010 Grade 100 Chain

Made of special CRNIMO alloy steel, 25~30% stronger than grade 80 chain. The weight for Grade 100 chain is on average 20% lighter than Grade 80 chain at the same working load.Meets the chain performance requirements of NACM2010.

NACM2010 Grade 100 Chain
Introduction

TOPONE® Grade 100 chain has the highest breaking load and elongation. It is very suitable for overhead lifting. The best materials and the best heat treatment make our Grade 100 chain meet the requirements of NACM2010 standard. The elongation of up to 20% ensures the safety of the chain in some extreme situations.

  • Work Load Limit (WLL) is the maximum load which the chains are designed to sustain in lifting use. The mean stress at this load is 250N/MM² (MPA) and is based on a 4:1 factor of safety.
  • Manufacturing Proof Force (MPF) is the force to which during manufacture the chain is subjected to. The mean stress at this load is 625N/MM² (MPA) which is 2.5 times the working load limit.
  • Minimum Breaking Load (MBL) is the minimum force of which the chain must withstand before failure. The mean stress at this load is 1000N/MM² (MPA). The minimum elongation before failure is 20%.
Standards

!This product can be used for Overhead Lfting. It is strictly prohibited to use it in excess of the working load (WLL).

!Any surface coating will affect the mechanical properties of the chain. Please ask staff for details.

We follow standards:

NACM2010

Optional surface treatment: natural black, powder coating, black electrophoresis, electro-galvanizing, hot-dip galvanizing, Dacromet.

Chain lifted loads should never be transported or suspended over people.

Chain should be inspected every six months for cracks, gouges, wear, elongation, nicks, and suitability.

Chain performance can be effected by excessive temperatures or exposure to chemically active environments such as acids, corrosive liquids or fumes.

When mixing chain and components such as hooks and links, all should be rated at the work load limit of the lowest rated component or chain.

Ambient temperature during use:

Min.: -40 ℃

Max.: 200 ℃

If the application scenario exceeds or is lower than the recommended operating temperature, please consult the staff to see if it is feasible.

Q & A
What is a grade 100 chain (G100 chain)? What is special about it?
Grade 100 chain is also called g100 chain or g10 chain. G100 chain is about 25% better than ordinary alloy lifting chain.
When should I use a G100 chain?
First of all, you can use grade 100 chain in any situation. You can use it for overhead lifting, heavy lifting, trailer transport fixing, log lashing, bulk carrier lashing. As the mainstream and highest performance chain on the market, you can use it in any work scenario.
What should I pay attention to when using Grade 100 chain? Is it safe?
You need to pay attention to whether the working tension exceeds the maximum working safety load we specify. The maximum working safety load we recommend is not higher than one-fourth of the chain breaking load. Each link has passed the test of 2.5 times the working load before leaving the factory. So it is undoubtedly safe to use it within the normal working load range.
Is Grade 100 chain stronger than Grade 80?
Grade 100 chain has a significantly higher strength-to-weight ratio than grade 80 chain (approximately 25% higher), and the surface material of grade 100 chain is also slightly harder, which provides some advantages in terms of wear resistance.
I don't see the size I want in the datasheet, can I get a custom size?
Yes, please contact our sales staff. They will work with our technicians to propose a solution for you based on your application scenario, which is usually free of charge!
Our chains are mostly exported to more than 30 countries
both in European and Asian markets.
